Join the program
Expressions of interest for the Build Up Tassie program open three times a year. When applications are open, submit a form through our “Apply Now” page.
After submitting, you will receive an invitation to an information session. It’s important to attend this session, as it is part of the shortlisting process. If you can’t make it, make sure to let us know.
Hire or Host – For Employers
Build Up Tassie has over 50 participants each year. If you are looking for potential employees or are interested in hosting a work placement, we can connect you with pre-screened, work-ready candidates and help support the placement experience and/or transition into work.
Schools
When Expressions of Interest are open, our coaches can come to your school to run information sessions for students and teachers. These sessions explain the Build Up Tassie Program and show how students can apply to participate.
Job Providers
Build Up Tassie provides participants with real opportunities in hands-on industries. By partnering with us, providers can link clients to work placements, specialised programs, and pathways to employment, helping participants build skills, confidence, and work-ready experience.
Community Groups
Build Up Tassie works with community groups to deliver hands-on projects that make a real difference. Each program, participants build a community project such as cubby houses, dog kennels, community gardens, picnic tables.
